Ministries
Mount Vernon Baptist Church offers a wide range of ministries designed to support worship, discipleship, fellowship, leadership development, outreach, pastoral care, and community service. These ministries help ensure that every member has a place to serve and a way to grow. As Scripture teaches, “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular” 1 Corinthians 12:27. At Mount Vernon, every ministry contributes to the strength and life of the body.
Christian Education
Christian education is a strong part of Mount Vernon’s ministry life. Through Sunday School, New Members Class, Board of Christian Education, Bible Study, Youth and Children’s Church, and ongoing teaching opportunities, the church remains committed to helping believers grow in faith and knowledge of God’s Word.
